In Texas, the DMP (Deer Management Permit) program, authorized by Texas Parks & Wildlife, allows owners of high-fenced properties to temporarily detain whitetailed deer in breeding pens located on the same property for the purpose of natural breeding.
The DMP program gives landowners an additional opportunity to increase the quality of their whitetail herd's genetics. In efforts to help customers improve their whitetail genetics within their pastures, South Texas Deer Company has implemented a DMP Buck Lease Program. This allows customers to introduce our superior South Texas genetics onto their ranches.
In order to participate in this program, customers must meet certain guidelines and application processes mandated by Texas Parks & Wildlife. To learn more about the code and regulations click on one of the following - General Information, Texas Administrative Code - Deer Management Permit.
